The Kids’ programme of Crossing Border will bring a selection of authors and illustrators of children’s literature that showcase the best artistic and literary quality in books intended for pre-readers (0-4), early readers (4-8) and middle-grade (8-12). In addition there will be a couple of activities attractive for teenagers. You can expect hands-on workshops, interviews on the creative and artistic process behind the stories and of course story time (reading aloud) from the authors themselves.
With our selection of authors and illustrators we have tried to bring a diversity of voices, languages and life-experiences. We believe stories connect us all and weaving a spiderweb of stories can be the seed for compassion, kindness and understanding in the world.
Practical info
The Kids’ programme will take place on the 2th of November and will consist of separate one hour events for different age groups.More info on time and location will follow.
Ticket info
If you want to visit the kids’ programme there are separate tickets for sale for each of the events. The events are listed on the programme page. Only kids need a ticket, adults who accompany the kids can enter for free. One adult can accompany a max. of 3 kids.
