Marta Altés - Big Tiger (4+)

Marta Altés studied graphic design in Barcelona and after working there as a graphic designer for almost five years (The Original Cha Chá),  decided to pursue her interest for illustration that she'd had since  was a child. She moved to England and joined the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Artz  BEST decision  ever made.

Since I graduated, I'm working as an illustrator in London and it makes me feel so lucky and happy. In 2012 I started working as a part time lecturer in the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.

I always try to have a positive and funny vision about life and to get a smile from who is looking at my drawings or reading my stories is what I like the most about illustration.

At Crossing Border she will read from her newly published book Big Tiger and lead a workshop with children.

No matter how big you are, you are NEVER too big for a hug! A joyful jungle adventure and a beautiful book about growing up.
