Joe Todd-Stanton - The lost robot (6+)

Joe Todd-Stanton grew up in Brighton, England, and was taught to draw by his mother. He then went on to study illustration in Bristol. His first book The Secret of Black Rock won the 2018 Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and in 2024 he won the Kate Greenaway readers choice award for his book The Comet. He is well known for his beautifully detailed picture books and graphic novels. His “Brownstone mythical collection series” follow legendary stories of fearless fighters and unlikely heroes through history and ancient civilizations.

At Crossing Border Kids he will present his book The lost robot followed by an interactive workshop.
