AUTHOR

MICHAEL CHABON

Michael Chabon won the Pulitzer Prize for his novel De wonderlijke avonturen van Kavalier & Clay. He lives in Berkeley, California, and is married to writer Ayelet Waldman. Chabon previously spoke at a BorderKitchen about De Jiddische Politiebond, a thought experiment about the fictional American-Jewish state of Alaska. For Crossing Border he returns as our guest in The Hague. Chabon’s new book evokes a great deal of nostalgia and love for music, written as only a great and original author can. Telegraph Avenue is about the record store Brokeland Records, which must be saved from decline, and about the two friends who run it and their families.
