Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Carlos Ruiz Zafón is the most widely read contemporary Spanish author. His work has been translated into more than 50 languages, many millions of his books were sold worldwide, and he has received numerous literary awards. His novels The Shadow of the Wind, The Angel's Game and The Prisoner of Heaven have become modern classics. On Monday 13 November 2017, Zafón will present his new novel, The Labyrinth of Spirits, at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In a lively conversation (in English), Zafón will speak with interviewer Ivo Niehe about the big finale of his series of four, but also about his authorship and his love for music. Through a selection of film music and a composition of his own, he will take us to that magical place where literature and music meet.
