Matt Goodfellow - Het laatste jaar (9-12 jaar)

Matt  Goodfellow is an award-winning poet and best-selling author from Manchester. He used to be a primary school teacher and before that was a failed rock star. He has written poetry collections for KS1 all the way up to KS4. Matt is the author of the critically-acclaimed, best-selling verse novel ‘’The Final Year’’ and its sequel ‘’The First Year’’. 

Matt writes poems about three things: his life, lives that he’s seen and stuff he makes up. Many of Matt’s poems focus on navigating the peaks and troughs of life, often touching on his own troubled upbringing. Matt spent most of his 10 years in education working as a Y6 teacher.

At Crossing Border Kids he will present his book “The Final Year” followed by a creative workshop.
