J.R. MOEHRINGER
In 2000, journalist J.R. Moehringer (U.S.) won the Pulitzer Prize. In 2005 his autobiographical novel Tender Bar was published, a widely acclaimed bestseller. He grew up in a bar surrounded by surrogate fathers, because his real father was largely absent. There, as a child, he drank his first beer, learned how to be tough, learned that books can move mountains, that you do not die from a broken heart, and that dreams come true if you are willing to fight for them.
Fast-paced, compelling, moving and humorous.
Moehringer is interviewed by writer and journalist Arjan Visser.
