Selin Kuşçu is a writer who walks a fine line between literature and art. She studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, from which she graduated with a very creative essay called Of, of, of. Her work is creative and challenging in the sense that she doesn’t just use words: images, sound and space are of equal importance.
She also likes to go against the grain. She made a series of texts in which she made words the illustration for images made by photographer Marijn van der Leeuw. Because: why should written text always prevail? She also makes the podcast Sprekende letteren.
