Ulli Lust, born 1967 in Vienna, moved to Berlin in 1995, where she studied graphic design. Her published work includes pieces of comics journalism featuring observations on modern life. Her most successful graphic novel Today is the last day of the rest of your life, published in 2009 won several awards. Apart from being a succesful graphic novelist, Lust is also a professor for Comics and Illustration at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Hannover. Her new autobiographic novel Wie ich versuchte, ein guter Mensch zu sein comes out this autumn.
