Scotsman John Niven was 34 when he thought, “I don’t want to fuck around”, and left the music industry. Nowadays he settles down for several hours of uninterrupted and disciplined writing each morning, and with much success. This former student of English Literature has written several novels, including Kill Your Friends, a successful satire based on his career in the music business. His latest book No Good Deed, like the rest of his bibliography, is funny and sharp. A sometimes painful exploration of friendship and hate, success and pity.
John Niven will share the stage with David Keenan. They will be interviewed by Henk van Straten.
