Akli Tadjer is a French-Algerian author and screenwriter who was born in Paris. He has always loved reading, and wrote his debut novel at the age of twenty, no less, inspired by a trip to Algeria. Les A.N.I. du Tassili tells the story of an Algerian man who, having been born in France, goes to look for his own identity in the country of his ancestors, a country he does not know. Tadjer’s most recent novel, La reine du tango, is a modern, humorous and melancholy story, in which dancing is more than a mere passion.
